Game Synopsis

​Thunder warrior is third person action game with Bullet hell elements where players explore realms of Nordic Gods while slaying their inhabitants and finally challenging the respective Gods themselves.

Vanquish the Gods, gain electrifying abilities and attain ultimate Godhood.

My Contribution for this project included 


Game Design 

  • Designing a Mobile-Friendly Third-person Character Controller with traversal options and combat capabilities that support a Bullet-Hell like gameplay

  • Reward system for combat encounters and level completion that bolsters the game's meta 

  • Economy that supports purchasable temporary and permanent upgrades to keep each playthrough progressive and variable.

Level Design ​

  • Blocking out of individual Arenas with in each level

  • Designing and Implementing Enemy types and Spawn patterns for individual Levels

  • Implementing optimisation Strategies for a mobile friendly experience

  • Helped with Level decoration and Set Dressing

Technical Design

  • Created a triplanar shaders which support height and surface normal based Moss/Snow coverage on props and terrain.

  • Create a Decal shader to simulate budget friendly light and glow effects

  • Assist in particle effects creation

  • Implement a Tutorial/UI prompt system for introducting new mechanics
